SEMARAK Training Supports OGFest’22
SEMARAK Training is proud to have supported Oil and Gas Festival 2022 (OGFest’22) as a Silver Sponsor, an initiative focused on empowering the next generation of engineers and energy professionals.
Organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Student Chapter (SPE-UTM SC), OGFest’22 was held from 18–21 March 2023 at Dewan Sultan Iskandar, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru.
With the theme “Empowering Young Engineers for Tomorrow,” the event brought together students, industry professionals and energy communities through a range of technical, professional and networking activities. The organisers highlighted the importance of strengthening connections between students, energy societies and industry practitioners while providing opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional development.
The festival featured a diverse programme, including technical workshops, industrial forums, technical talks, competitions, a career fair and career development sessions. Topics covered included field development, CCUS, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as career preparation and industry opportunities.
As a professional training provider serving the energy industry, SEMARAK Training recognises the importance of supporting initiatives that connect academic learning with industry exposure.
