SEMARAK Training was honoured to support the Sehelai Baju Raya & Industry Charity Iftar 2026, a meaningful community initiative organised by the SPE Kuala Lumpur Section in collaboration with Humanitarian Care Malaysia Berhad.
The initiative brought members of the energy industry together to create a memorable Ramadan experience for children from care homes across the Klang Valley.
Bringing Joy to 700 Children
The wider initiative reached 700 children through Baju Raya shopping and a charity iftar.
For many of the children, the programme offered something simple yet meaningful: the opportunity to choose their own Baju Raya, share a meal and celebrate Ramadan with people who came together to support them.
Beyond providing clothing and meals, the programme aimed to help every child feel valued, included and remembered during the festive season.
A Celebration Powered by Compassion
The programme grew from an earlier outreach initiative into an annual collaboration between SPE Kuala Lumpur Section, MyCARE and organisations from across the energy industry.
Volunteers, sponsors, students and industry professionals contributed their time and support to make the programme possible. Their collective efforts helped create an atmosphere filled with care, joy and meaningful connections.
The charity iftar also provided an opportunity for participants to spend time with children from care homes and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan together.
SEMARAK Training’s Commitment to Giving Back
SEMARAK Training was proud to support the programme as one of its Gold Sponsors.
At SEMARAK, we believe that creating a positive impact goes beyond professional training and business performance. It also means supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and bring people together.
Through this programme, SEMARAK Training joined other industry organisations in helping children experience the excitement, dignity and happiness of preparing for Hari Raya.
Creating Impact Through Industry Collaboration
The success of the Sehelai Baju Raya & Industry Charity Iftar 2026 demonstrated what can be achieved when businesses, professional organisations and volunteers work towards a shared purpose.
SEMARAK Training sincerely appreciates the efforts of SPE Kuala Lumpur Section, MyCARE, fellow sponsors and volunteers who made this meaningful programme possible.
We remain committed to supporting community initiatives that promote compassion, inclusion and positive social impact.
Because every child deserves to feel seen, valued and remembered.
