SEMARAK Training successfully conducted the Fundamentals of Multiphase Flow Measurement training programme on 9 and 10 June 2026 at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur.

The two-day programme was designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of multiphase and wet gas flow measurement, including the principles, technologies and considerations involved in measuring oil, water and gas within oil and gas production systems.

Understanding Multiphase Flow Measurement

Oil and gas wells commonly produce more than one fluid phase at the same time. Oil, water and gas may flow together through the same production system, making accurate measurement more challenging than conventional single-phase measurement.

Understanding these flow conditions is important for evaluating well performance, supporting reservoir management and improving production monitoring.

Throughout the programme, participants developed a stronger understanding of the fundamentals behind multiphase flow measurement and the role of multiphase flow meters in oil and gas operations.
